How do I register to write?
 Follow
these steps:
1. You should have already started your
qualification process by applying to one or more institutions of your choice.
2. Amongst other information, your (HSC) Testing
Guidelines Handbook contains your unique Reference Number, which is not
transferable.
3. Read the information carefully.
4. Immediately, complete the Biographical
Information and Venue Choice Form.
4.1 The easiest and most time-efficient way to complete and return the
Biographical Information and Venue Choice Form to us is by doing it online.
4.2 If you complete the form online then your information is captured and
processed automatically.
4.3 By using your Reference Number and Password (that we will provide),
you may check your venue confirmation on the same website 2 (TWO) days after you
have submitted your Biographical Information and Venue Choice Form.
4.4 If you do not have access to a computer, you may fax the completed
Biographical Information and Venue Choice Form to the following number: (021)
650 5466
4.5 For confirmation that we have received your faxed Biographical
Information and Venue Choice Form, you must follow the instructions at number
4.3 above. Faxed information will only be acknowledged online 4 (FOUR) days after receipt.
4.6 DO NOT use both the online facility AND faxing facility to send us
your completed Biographical Information and Venue Choice Form.
4.7 We will confirm receipt of documentation only as described in 4.3
above.
5. Deposit your testing fee of R200.00
into the ABSA bank account as soon as possible. Bank Account details
are available in the brochure you will receive once you have applied
to an institution. Applicants writing the test overseas and not at one of our venues must pay an additional R150.00.
6. Keep your personalised Health Sciences
Consortium (HSC) Testing Guidelines Handbook and bank stamped deposit slip in a
safe place.
7. On testing day, you must bring:
7.1 Your ABSA bank deposit slip with the bank stamp on it as proof of
payment;
7.2 Your HSC Testing Guidelines Handbook and covering letter;
7.3 Your unique HSC Reference Number;
7.4 Proof of Identity;
7.5 HB Pencil, Eraser, Sharpener, Black or Blue Pen
